The Academy of Sciences of Moldova and Wuhan University of Technology, in collaboration with partner institutions, invite university students to apply for the upcoming Chinese–Moldovan Autumn School, which will take place on 13–15 October 2026.
This high-level scientific event is designed to introduce students to advanced developments and emerging trends in key fields, including:
- Materials Science
- Physics and Nanotechnology
- Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies
Participants will have the opportunity to attend lectures and interactive sessions delivered by leading scientists from China, Moldova and other countries. The program will feature keynote contributions from prominent international scholars, including Prof. Rodrigo Martins, President of the European Academy of Sciences (EurASc), and Prof. Klaus Mainzer, President of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (EASA), as well as from distinguished scholars participating in the 3rd International Symposium on Interdisciplinary Materials (ISIM 2026), which will take place in Wuhan during the same week.
Format and Venues
The Autumn School will be held in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and online participation.
On-site venues:
- Academy of Sciences of Moldova, Chișinău, Republic of Moldova
- Wuhan University of Technology, Wuhan, China
Online participation:
Live-streamed lectures and interactive sessions will be available to registered remote participants.

- Target audience: Master’s students, PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and other early-career scholars in relevant scientific fields

Upon completion of the Chinese–Moldovan Autumn School, participants will receive certificates of participation.
